Excuse types for everythign?
Currently, we are using excused
together with excuse_type
. Today, I wondered whether this is still a good idea. We currently have a very complicated statistics system based on
- absences without an excuse (unexcused)
- excused absences without excuse type
- excused absences with excuse type, counted as absent
- excused absences with excuse type, not counted as absent
I would plead to drop the excused attribute and base everything on top of excuse types, even for just normal excuses.
