Date picker for date of birth unusable

The date picker on the person edit page is unusable. Selecting a year is hard because the list of years is rendered mostly outside the screen (zooming out to 50% or something helps), but then, the years reach back only 10 years and no years before, currently, 2011 can be selected.

On top of that, the date cannot be entered manually (which is an accessibility issue in itself).
